What’s covered?

Your things are covered if they are accidentally damaged, lost, or stolen anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.

How do I adjust
protection?

With no long-term contracts, you can turn protection ON or OFF at any time with a few taps from your Trōv.

When you turn protection ON, you're billed for the time remaining in that month. If you turn protection OFF, you're refunded the time remaining in that month.

A$3.25/mth A$60 excess
A$2.50/mth A$80 excess

How does pricing work?

You get to choose from a range of prices depending on the excess you're willing to have deducted in the event of claim.

The price for protection is based on the protected value (an estimate of replacement cost for that item) and other factors, including location and age.

How do I claim?

With a few taps, report claims directly from your Trōv. Claims are normally reviewed in minutes (during business hours), not days or weeks. Payout is deposited directly into your bank account.

What’s not covered?

While many situations are covered, there are
some that are not.

  • Regular wear & tear

    (like dings & minor scratches)

  • Mechanical or electrical failure

    (this may be covered under manufacturer warranty)

  • Wreckless shenanigans

    (take reasonable care of your stuff)

  • Any associated costs or losses

    (like medical bills, loss of digital files, rentals, etc)

  • Pre-existing problems

    (the item is already damaged, lost or stolen)
