About this Role:

Trōv is looking for a seasoned Senior Product Analyst, to be a driving force in communicating data and insights to the Trōv Enterprise Business Unit (EBU). The EBU is responsible for building B2B2C end-customer insurance applications, in addition to a suite of B2B administration and analytics tools, for our enterprise partners. As a part of the Trōv Analytics team, you will be working cross functionally with analytics, engineering, marketing, design, product, and our enterprise clients to gather data, synthesize it into actionable insights and make a difference in our products. Your analysis will directly influence product feature development and prioritization for our end-customer and administrative products.

This job will be based in Danville, CA USA at Trōv HQ.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Work cross-functionally to define problem statements, synthesize data, and communicate insights to drive business decisions with stakeholders in all departments.
  • Leverage tools like Python, SQL, R and Tableau, to cleanse, organize and build communicable visualizations of Trōv’s data.
  • Analyze user behavioral data using tools like Google Analytics and Heap Analytics to understand user pain points and product optimization opportunities.
  • Build and automate tools to surface key data to stakeholders across various levels of data literacy. These tools may include Tableau/GA/Heap dashboards, aggregate tables, and self-service reporting tools.
  • Design, manage and report on the performance of A/B tests to optimize the user experience with iterative innovation and measurement.
  • Develop deep product knowledge, that you leverage to influence future product roadmaps and drive decision making.
  • Contribute to building a data driven culture by implementing streamlined processes for insight reporting and communication.

You Have/Are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Management Science).
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience analyzing and interpreting data, drawing conclusions, defining recommended actions, and reporting results to stakeholders.
  • 4+ years of fluency in SQL-based data manipulation
  • Experience building aggregates and optimizing data workstreams
  • Advanced experience with creating dashboards in Tableau or comparable software
  • Intermediate user of behavioral analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Heap Analytics or comparable software
  • Experience designing and assessing impact of A/B experiments in a fast-paced product development cycle
  • Independence in determining and establishing priorities to balance ongoing projects with requests from various stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment, working autonomously, with a highly distributed workforce. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical.

You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have:

  • Experience working in a B2B company in addition to the B2C space.
  • Regular experience working with key stakeholders in a remote work environment.
  • Experience in instrumentation of  client-side or server-side data pipelines.
  • Experience defining data schemas and data tracking strategies.
  • Understanding of advanced statistical techniques and predictive data modeling.
