Your things are covered against accidental damage, loss, theft, and mechanical breakdown anywhere in the world.
With no long-term contracts, you can turn protection ON or OFF at any time with a few taps from your Trōv.
When you turn protection ON, you're billed for the time remaining in that month. If you turn protection OFF, you're refunded the time remaining in that month.
You get to choose from a range of prices depending on the deductible you’re willing to pay in the event of a claim.
The price for protection is based on the protected value (an estimate of replacement cost for that item) and other factors, including location.
With a few taps, report claims directly from your Trōv. If your item is damaged we will repair it for you. If your item has been lost/stolen or cannot be repaired, we will replace it with the same model (or a model with comparable features). We may require you to provide proof of ownership.
While many situations are covered, there are
some that are not.
(like dings & minor scratches)
(take reasonable care of your stuff)
(like medical bills, loss of digital files, rentals, etc)
(the item is already damaged, lost or stolen)
While we've summarized many features of Trōv Protection, we do still need to include the legal details.
Protection is subject to underwriting review and approval. Protection may not be available in all states. Please see a copy of the Terms of Protection (CO, NY), Terms of Protection (All Other States) and applicable State Amendatory Endorsements for the full terms, conditions and exclusions. Protection obligations are the sole responsibility of KnightBrook Insurance Company (NAIC No. 13722) in all states except Colorado and New York where it is National Specialty Insurance Company (NAIC No. 22608). Protection scenarios are hypothetical and shown for illustrative purposes only. Protection is dependent on the actual facts and circumstances giving rise to a claim.
Trov Insurance Solutions, LLC (in New York Trov Insurance Services, LLC (TIS)) is an insurance agency licensed to sell property-casualty insurance products. TIS will receive compensation from KnightBrook and/or National Specialty for such sales.
